A typical Brit who loves her tea, Ara lives in Dorset with her partner.
She grew up in the southeast of England, frequently jotting down story and character ideas through her childhood when she wasn’t busy climbing trees or defeating enemies with totally-not-plastic sword and shield. She wrote a lot of fan-fiction flash fictions and short stories before writing her own original stories as a mid-to-late teen.
Ara moved to the West Midlands where she got her BA (Hons) Creative & Professional Writing and English degree from Wolverhampton University and stayed there for several years after graduating. She then moved down to Dorset with her partner, which is where she wrote her first novel.
